Active Ingredients (in each tablet)

Ephedrine Hydrochloride 25 mg (bronchodilator)
Guaifenesin 200 mg (expectorant)

Mechanism of Action

Ephedrine is a sympathomimetic, a substance that mimics the effect of catecholamines like epinephrine (adrenaline) and norepinephrine (noradrenaline). The mechanism of action for sympathomimetic compounds is that they act directly and indirectly on α-adrenergic and β-adrenergic receptors. These
α-adrenergic and β-adrenergic receptors have specific affects on the body chemistry.
